A-Z Of Beauty Tips

A- Always protect your skin, When looking for products for your skin (foundation, moisturiser etc) try and find ones with SPF. This will be more beneficial to your skin.

B- Blend. Always make sure your make-up is blended to avoid harsh outlines, noone likes this look right? I find buffing brushes are best for blending products such as foundation and eye shadow.

C- Concealer. Concealer is a great way to cover imperfections, we all have them girls. For example.. Green or yellow concealer will neutralize redness, Yellow or peach concealer will neutralize purplish or blue bags under your eyes, Lavender toned concealer will help to neutralize yellow bruising and for a brightening effect under the eyes chose a concealer that is 2 shades lighter than your skin tone.

D-DON'T apply harsh products to your skin. Always look for products that do best for your skin. You wouldn't go buy a product for oil skin if you had dry skin would you? I would recommend to look for products which are 100% soap free and only use natural ingredients. Lush do an excellent range of face & body products that are 100% natural and aren't tested on animals which is a bigger bonus! www.fightinganimaltesting.com :).

E- Eyeshadow. Eyeshadow can make or break a make-up look. You need to find what colours suit your skin tone and eyes. I find with blue eyes more neutral colours always look great. Brown eyes can get away with most colours but pink shades look eye popping. For Green/Hazel eyes I would try purple shades as the contrast in colour will make your eyes seem more dramatic.

F-Foundation. Everyone loves foundations and they are so many of them to chose from. The biggest tip for foundation is finding the perfect shade for your skin for it to blend well. Most foundation brands stock a wide variety of colours so it is quite easy to find your skin tone. I am really loving the Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation at the moment as it is a really good coverage for me but it also build able if I feel I need more coverage when having a bad skin day.

G-Gorgeous hair. Remember girl to always use protection on your hair when using heat. To maintain gorgeous hair I would recommend using products such as hair masks, hair oils and heat protecting serums or sprays. These things will always leave your hair looking gorgeous and silky smooth.

H-Healthy inside and out. You are what you eat. When you eat healthy you feel healthy. How many of you have ate a big greasy sandwich and felt sluggish afterwards? yes, me too! It's not always easy to eat healthy all the time but just bringing new things into your diet is good. Say goodbye to crisp & chocolate, Say hello to fruit & veg!

I-Individual. You are an individual. Why copy of the way someone else looks or act when you can just be you? there's nothing better than that. You like big bold eye looks? you rock big bold eye looks! don't let anyone EVER tell you how you should look or act.

J-Jugs of water. Aim to drink at least 2L of water a day. Water is so important for keeping your whole body healthy. It helps keep your skin hydrated and also looking great. It keeps your fluid balanced, helps with clearer skin, kidney function, sickness fighter and brain booster. SO SO SO beneficial to the whole body.

K- Killer Eyelashes. Individual eyelashes or semi permanent eyelashes are amazing if you love wearing falsies but love something that stays on alot longer and can still look natural. They look beautiful always. If you more of a natural girl and love your real lashes then how about trying this tip? heat your eyelash curlers up with your hair dryer for a few seconds then curl your lashes, this will act as a curling iron for your lashes.

L- Lips. We all love a good lipstick for that juicy pout! Are you a bold bright colour lip or a nude subtle lip? both are beautiful! Always have fun experimenting with lipstick shades and finding your favourites. Already have a favourite let me know in the comments below :)

M- Moisturiser. It is a essential. Whatever skin type you are you should always be applying moisturiser it is so good to keep your skin hydrated and nourish your skin tissues. You should moisturise morning and night, this will also help with issues like pigmentation. I love the simple moisturiser as it feels like a glass of water for my skin and leaves it feeling full hydrated.

N-Nails. I don't know about you but i love painting my nails and trying out new colours and designs. Nails are so fun. You should always aim to keep your nails healthy, a tip to help with this is using a hand and nail cream to nourish the skin, nails and cuticles. Go crazy with your nails and make a statement!

O-Oils. Using oils on your skin and in your hair can be very beneficial and there are many different ones you can try. Hair oils can strengthen your hair but also bring beautiful shine and bounce to create healthier hair. Skin oils penetrate really good into the skin making the results longer lasting and help improve your skin whatever your oil may help with. For example if you have stretch marks and want the fade them, you can buy oils that will target that issue.

P-Pimples. Grrr we hate the things. Never directly squeeze your pimples as they will become agitation, sore and tend the spread on the face. Try out pimple fighters there are many about and some are better than others. I love using sudacrem on my breakouts as I feel it soothes them and helps with the appearance.

Q-Quick DIY in a hurry? wearing those killer heels tonight but your feet are looking unloved and dry? try out a homemade foot scrub. This is one I love. Mix 2 tablespoons of Brown Sugar, 1 tsp of Lemon Juice, 1 tsp Honey, 1 tsp Olive Oil all into a ball until a thick, sticky, smooth paste. Soak your feet in warm water then apply the paste all over your skin giving them a good scrub for a few minutes. Wash off with warm water and enjoy your smooth looking feet. Let me know if this works for you :) as I love it!

R-Reducing puffy eyes. I have tried a few things to reduce this problem starting with bought items and home remedies. There are eye creams, gels and rollers..I think the rollers are definitely the best things to use are they are more precise and the metal ball on the end of the roller feels really soothing. Try keeping your product in the fridge to keep it extra cold. A good home remedy is to get a metal spoon and place it in your freezer and place under your eyes for a minute or so, i feel this works really good and also inexpensive.

S-Soft Soft Soft. EVERYONE LOVES SOFT SKIN. You should always aim to keep your skin soft and beautiful. Exfoliators are amazing to help with this. Body, face and lips. At the moment I am using the "I love...Blueberry & smoothie" body exfoliator which smells absolutely amazing but a great gentle scrub on my skin and leaves my skin feeling super soft and renewed. An amazing lip scrub is one from lush which is called "bubblegum lip scrub" it smells so yummy and leaves lips feeling beautiful and prepares them for apply lip products perfectly. My favourite face exfoliator is the "simple kind the skin" one which is gentle and perfect on my sensitive skin and leaving my skin silky smooth and glowing.

T-Terrific Brows. Eyebrows frame your face. I find using an eyebrow powder definitely creates a more natural look for me, I just apply powder over my brows to create a more defined look. There are many eyebrow products out there such as pencils, powders, gels, creams, felt tips etc. Let me know how you prefer to do your brows :)

U-Unbelievable contouring. Contouring defines your face by shadowing and highlighting your facial features. Here's a good diagram to follow if you are wanting to practice contouring. The biggest tip to contouring is blend blend blend!

V-Vitamins. Vitamins are great for your body and it really shows inside and out. Vitamin C enhances the effect of your sunscreen, great for growth and development and is also helpful for people that suffer with pigmentation.

W-White Teeth.  As we all know there are many products in the shops that help to brighten the appearance of teeth but how about some home remedies? baking soda and lemon juice paste (mix together and brush teeth with toothbrush), Strawberry, Salt and Baking Soda Scrub (mix together and brush teeth with toothbrush) or Coconut Oil Rinse (swish round mouth for few minutes then brush teeth).

X-eXtra cleansing always. Always cleanse twice. Once is not enough. Find a cleanser that you love to start with. I use the "Simple Moisturising face wash" as it works really well for my skin. I first wet my face then apply this cleanser all over my face with my hands to break down my makeup then remove with warm water. My skin never feels 100% cleansed after just cleansing once. I then apply cleanser to my face again but then go in my electrical facial brush as I feel this is more beneficial on my skin than just using my hands. I then wash my face with warm water again and pat dry with a clean towel.

Y-Youthful. Keeping your skin looking young is a struggle but a struggle we are going to win! When you feel like pampering yourself apply a face mask that contains collagen and which states will target keeping your skin young from fine lines and wrinkles. Every little helps. I find starting early is always the best thing to do always keep an eye out for pre-ageing. A good home remedy to try is to "mix together milk and a small amount of mustard powder in a cup and using a cotton bud, massage your pores. Leave the mask on for ten to fifteen minutes before rinsing off".

Z- ZZZ. Plenty of sleep is a must. You must aim to have atleast 8 hours of sleep a night. Sleep has a very big impact on your health. You function better with a good nights sleep and feel alot better about tackling your long day ahead.
